Space constraints in Singaporeans’ homes caused by the pandemic | Yahoo Singapore
Issue: Jun 2021
In a recent interview with Yahoo Singapore, our Singapore CEO Luigi La Tona shared findings from a recent poll commissioned by StorHub which revealed that 65 per cent of Singaporeans between 36 and 60 years old feel their living space has shrunk tremendously as we stay at home more than ever after the pandemic struck. 61 per cent of younger Singaporeans between 18 and 35 years old require space at home solely for digital activities, which involve the use of smartphones, other portable electronic devices and computers.
Luigi recommends that we have three categories of space dedicated for personal, creative and functional use at home. He also suggests that we follow the three Ds method- Declutter, Donate and Dispose, when going through our possessions to create more space at home.
