How The Pandemic Has Transformed Our Lives And How We Use Self Storage | The Straits Times

In a recent interview with The Straits Times, StorHub Singapore’s CEO, Luigi La Tona touched on how the pandemic has changed our lives. For instance, residences now double as workplaces and study areas Luigi believes that our homes should be set aside for personal, creative and functional use and that our living spaces can be effectively optimised when we make good use of the storage facilities near our home.

For many, there is a common misconception that self storage facilities are traditional warehouses located out of the way. StorHub is here to be a myth-buster with easily accessible facilities conveniently located near MRT stations and expressways, and storage units that are well-lit, secure, vibrant and for the exclusive use of our customers 24 hours all year round.

StorHub customers are made up of mainly individuals storing personal items but also business owners with a bountiful supply of inventories, including some business owners running their e-commerce operations directly from our storage space. Others are even storing their personal collectibles like Star Wars toys and Lego sets.

At StorHub, we also take pride in our long-standing commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters which encompass our environmental management approach to reduce waste and make use of green technologies to protect our planet and ultimately staying focused on achieving the highest Green Mark Platinum award. On top of that, charity organisations we have partnered up with get to make good use of the storage spaces we’ve offered to them to support them as they focus on giving back to the community.
